The Harbor City Roller Dames are very excited to announce that we are hosting a bout on December 19, 2009, beginning at 10:00 p.m., at the World of Wheels Skate Center, against the Mississippi Valley Mayhem from La Crosse, Wisconsin.  Tickets are only $7 and are there are only a limited amount available.  Hit up any of your favorite roller girls, referees, or non-skating officials to purchase your tickets!  There will be a cash bar available.  This is a family-friendly event, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Safe Haven Shelter for Battered Women.  After-bout festivities will be held at Carmody Irish Pub in Downtown Duluth.

Recruiting New Skaters!

The Harbor City Roller Dames are currently recruiting new skaters of all skill levels, body shapes and sizes.  The phrases "too short, too tall, too big, too skinny, and too old" don't exist in our derby!  Must be 21 years of age or older.  Come check out a practice on Wednesday or Sunday evenings from 5:45 to 7:15 at the World of Wheels Skate Center in Superior!  No equipment required to watch.  Equipment required to practice includes:  helmet, mouth guard, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads.  Who said there aren't any cool sports for girls to play!!!
